Gendered Approaches to Spatial Development in Europe - Book launch of the publication of an ARL International Working Group, Routledge 2019

Der SIA International nimmt die Publikation der Ergebnisse der mehrjährigen Zusammenarbeit eines Internationalen Arbeitskreises der deutschen Akademie für Raumforschung und Landesplanung (ARL), an der auch Fachfrauen aus der Schweiz beteiligt waren, zum Anlass, ein Export Meeting zum Thema «Genderperspektiven auf Zugänge zur Raumentwicklung in Europa» durchzuführen.

Export Meetings richten sich an international tätige und interessierte Fachleute in der Schweiz, die ihre Netzwerke ins Ausland erweitern, sowie an interessierte Institutionen im Ausland, die ihre Kontakte in die Schweiz ausbauen möchten.

Zusammen mit dem Netzwerk frau+sia und dem Verein Lares bietet der SIA International mit dieser Veranstaltung am 23. August im Zentrum Architektur Zürich (ZAZ) eine Plattform für den interdisziplinären wie (inter-)nationalen Austausch zum Thema «Gleichstellung von Frau und Mann im Beruf» und «Bedarfs- und alltagsrechtes Planen und Bauen».

Es referieren und diskutieren Wissenschafterinnen und Planungspraktikerinnen aus dem In- und Ausland: Barbara Zibell, vorm. Leibniz Universität Hannover; Marion Roberts, University of Westminster, London; Doris Damyanovic, Universität für Bodenkultur, Wien; Ulrike Sturm, Hochschule Luzern; Alexa Bodammer, Netzwerk frau+sia; Stephanie Tuggener, Verein Lares.

SIA International takes the publication of the results of an International Working Group of the German Academy for Spatial Research and Planning (ARL) as an opportunity to hold an Export Meeting on the topic of "Gendered approaches to spatial development in Europe". Women experts from Switzerland were actively involved in the Working Group which cooperated for several years.

Export Meetings provide networking opportunities of internationally active and interested experts in Switzerland who want to expand their contacts abroad as well as interested institutions abroad who wish to expand their contacts in Switzerland.

In cooperation with the Network women+sia and Lares Association, SIA International offers with this even -t hosted by the Zentrum Architektur Zürich (ZAZ) - a platform for interdisciplinary and (inter-)national exchange on the subjects of "Equality between women and men in the workplace" and "Planning and building for everyday needs".
