ADC systems | A focus on Switzerland and Czech Republic

The ARCH-E project promotes high-quality architectural solutions by advocating for the increased use and accessibility of Architectural Design Competitions (ADCs) in Europe. On the way to a more accessible ADC landscape, research and professional know-how transfer by the project members map the current status in order to better understand good practices and locate topics with need for action.

SIA International is involved in this project led by the Austrian Bundeskammer der Ziviltechniker*innen BKZT as a cooperation partner. Together with the SIA, it provides the Swiss perspective on the practice and culture of Architectural Design Competitions ADC.

Members of the project team, who are experts in the theoretical and practical aspects of ADCs, regularly give insights into national ADC systems. We are very grateful to announce that coming up next, Laurindo Lietha, SIA – Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects, and Mirko Lev, CKA – Czech Chamber of Architects, will present good practices representatives for each national ADC system and will be available for questions and further exchange of ideas afterwards.
