On Wednesday 8th March 2023, 6-8 pm, the exhibition “The Contribution of Women in Contemporary Architecture.Projects for Education and Culture in the World” will be inaugurated with an international conference at the Headquarter of the Order of Architects P.P.C. of the Province of Milan and online. The conference will feature some of the key European women in architecture of the last decades:

At 8 pm, the evening will be closed by the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition will be open to the public with free admission until 30 March, Both, the exhibition and the conference are made possible due to the support and patronage of numerous organisations including SIA International.

The exhibition presents a selection of twelve projects for education and culture built in Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Finland, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Perù, Spain, South Africa, the United States, Switzerland and Turkey.

A section of the exhibition is dedicated to Europe with a focus on four schools built in Finland, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland (schools presented during the conference on 8 March). In the section dedicated to the other four continents, a selection of projects for education and culture will be exhibited; among others the project of the ESTOA (UDEM) University of Monterrey in Mexico designed by Tatiana Bilbao and the new incubator for art and creativity NXTHVN in New Haven in United States by Deborah Berke.
